GlobalTransit - IP Transit Services
GlobalTransit, the IP transit service of Globalaxs connects your network to the Internet. This simple proposition, combined with the advanced network of Globalaxs makes us the IP transit of choice for some of the most demanding network service providers, content providers, and Web 2.0 companies.
As the Internet is, at its core, a collection of diverse networks speaking the same set of network protocols, not all Internet connectivity is equal. Degrees of reachability, resilience against both local and remote link and equipment failures vary greatly between different providers.
With the GlobalTransit service, Globalaxs allows you to benefit from its global network and its numerous transit and peering relationships, established over more than 15 internet exchanges and many private interconnects with some of the biggest networks in the world.
The GlobalTransit service has the following characteristics:
- Full BGP4+ route table including IPv4 and IPv6.
- Bandwidth from 2Mbps to 40Gbps.
- Available over any transport medium of choice (SONET, Ethernet, etc.).
- Multicast routing available on request.
